Scully Design is a full service product design and development firm based in San Francisco. The firm was established by Mike Scully in January of 2005 to create a more streamlined product development process and to provide an alternative to large design firms. Our clients range from large corporations to design consultancies to individual inventors. Being independent allows us to tailor our services and project structure to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our mission is simple- thrill our clients with great design, rigorous engineering, friendly service and clean data.
As principal designer, mechanical engineer, and vendor liaison, Mike works closely with the client throughout the development process to ensure that nothing is lost in translation. But being a lone designer does not mean designing alone. Scully Design has established a network of trusted partners from which to solicit feedback and design support. In short, Scully Design provides the personalized service and flexibility of a one person shop with the design resources of a larger firm.
Let’s face it, not every project requires a giant team of project managers, researchers, designers, engineers, human factors specialists, etc. Some projects simply require solid design and engineering support by an experienced person who can get the job done right.
